West Best Foods is committed to providing its customers with authentic handcrafted premium foods in compliance with local, state, and federal health regulations. The company is federally inspected by the United States Department of Agriculture's (USDA) Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), preparing its products in accordance with the food safety requirements of the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) system adopted by both agencies. Federal agents maintain a private office on the premises which they use to inspect operations on a daily basis. West Best Foods has also implemented strict Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in line with HACCP, Title 9 Chapter III and Title 21 Chapter I (B) of the United States Code of Federal Regulations (CFR).
